Broadstone at RiNo Breaks Ground in Denver
Construction for Broadstone at RiNo, a 270-unit project in the River North Art District of Denver, commenced this week. Alliance acquired the tract of land at Brighton Boulevard and 31st Street in December 2014 for $7.75 million with initial plans for 220,000+ square feet of development between three connected four- and five-story buildings.
More than half of the apartments will be studios and one-bedroom units starting at 500 square feet. The remaining units will be two-bedroom apartments ranging up to 1,400 square feet. Rent for studios will start at about $1,000, with the most expensive apartments topping out at $2,100.
Says Managing Director Andy Clay, “A lot of those communities (in the downtown and Union Square neighborhoods) aren’t really attainable for folks who are in their mid-20s. What we’re trying to accomplish here is a new product with incredible amenities that is really geared towards the tastes and the budgets of folks that are in their 20s.”
