The Next Wave in Multifamily Housing

Research shows the number of renters who are 65 or older will reach 12+ million by 2030, more than double the level in 2010. In response, Alliance is building projects where multiple generations (Boomers, Gen Y’s and Gen X’s) can coexist. By designing communities with smaller, more affordable units on the ground floors to attract young adults and creating more spacious apartments on upper levels, new assets can comfortably accommodate multiple demographics without sacrificing value.
