Building a 21st Century Neighborhood
Construction has officially commenced on Broadstone Makers Quarter, a high-profile mixed-use project in downtown San Diego’s East Village – an area known as the Innovation District. City leaders, including Mayor Kevin Faulconer and Councilman Todd Gloria, took part in a ceremonial dig last Monday to mark the first phase of construction this year on the development’s future site.
“Great things are happening in San Diego and people from across the country are recognizing that. 2016 is shaping up to be one of our best years yet with the development of Broadstone Makers Quarter excitingly underway,” said Mayor Faulconer.
Once complete, Broadstone Makers Quarter will include 265 residential units and nearly 5,000 square feet of retail space along Broadway and 16th Streets.
