Broadstone Midtown partners with artists

Drawing inspiration from Midtown, Alliance Residential Co. collaborated with local artists and designers to create a boutique community that blends seamlessly the energy of Peachtree Street and the tranquility of the neighborhood. Broadstone Midtown, on the corner of Juniper and 5th streets in Atlanta, differs dramatically from its glass-and-steel neighbors with bold colors and striking finishes.

The 218-home luxury apartment community, which welcomed its first residents this spring, features a classic art-deco theme re-imagined in a modern style. The development includes artwork and murals by local artists, personally curated by Hope Cohn, an Atlanta artist who recently installed an exhibit for the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia in Buckhead. These pieces create a fascinating journey through the project, which begins as you enter the building. The entry lobby is reflective of a boutique hotel with intricate tile work, unique furniture and gathering areas.

Graphic art collaborative Loss Prevention, which received nationwide attention for its John Lewis “Hero” mural, will be designing and painting an exterior mural on the building, an ode to the colorful fabric and history of the surrounding neighborhood.

“Broadstone Midtown captures the energy and artistry that makes this neighborhood one of the most desirable places to live in the country,” Todd Oglesby, Alliance Residential’s Southeast director, said in a news release. “It is the perfect balance of living in a vibrant city and still coming home to a creative and welcoming neighborhood at the end of the day. It is the best of all Midtown offers.”

Broadstone Midtown has 12 walk-up townhome units, which include one and two-bedroom units between 870 and 1,290 square feet. The remaining apartment homes range in size from 630 to 1,394 square feet and include designer white quartz countertops, classic gold hardware, premium stainless steel GE appliances and Nest learning thermostats.

Top-floor penthouse units include not only white mosaic backsplash tiles and premium wood cabinetry, but also higher ceilings and views of the Midtown skyline. Several units feature large private entertainment balconies facing the historic neighborhood.

Among the amenities that make the property stand out is an elevated resort deck with a glass-faced pool providing those passing by on Juniper a peak in to the community. There are several expansive community terraces, which contain fire pits, outdoor games and multiple intimate gathering spaces for winding down from work or winding up for a weekend. Broadstone Midtown is environmentally friendly, earning certification from the National Green Building Standard.

The property is being professionally managed by Alliance Residential.
